Summer Bishil has been an American actress since her debut in 2015. Her stage name is Margo Hanon, a character from the Syfy Fantasy Fiction the series The Magicians. Her previous work was recognized for playing the role of a 13-year-old Lebanese-American girl Jasira Maroun as she goes through a series of turbulent personal struggles against the context of the U.S. invasion of Iraq during the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. The film was chosen by Variety as one of 10 actors they wanted to see. In 2009, she played the powerful Taslima in Crossing Over. She was nominated in the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead in the film.
